Classic Car Heritage has a policy of no small print or hidden charges and where any error in the supply of information is proved the fault of Classic Car Heritage, following an initial attempt to correct any such error a full refund of monies paid will be made subject to the following:
Research is carried out on the basis of a chassis number supplied by the enquirer. We can confirm the original numbers and colour scheme, give the dates of build and dispatch, as well as the original destination of the car, also the name of the first owner and the original registration if they are shown on original records. No liability can be accepted where an incorrect number has been quoted even if this leads to an incorrect car being researched;
Whilst every care is taken to ensure the correctness of the information supplied, neither Classic Car Heritage nor any of its associated Trusts or Companies will be held liable for any errors or omissions or the consequences thereof;
A Heritage Certificate in itself does not constitute verification of the present condition or actual identity of a particular vehicle;
We reserve the right to demand proof of ownership of a vehicle before issuing a Certificate. This right is consistently enforced when a request for key numbers is made;
We reserve the right to adjust the £/$/€ charge in the event of severe fluctuations in the exchange rate.
Charges
Standard Search: £35.00 (GBP) per search.
Special Search: When chassis number is unavailable £150.00(GBP) per search.
Postal Service/Special Print Service: varies depending upon location. These charges will be negotiated with the customer prior to charge.
NB: if you are not able to provide a chassis number, it may be very difficult to locate your car, and the time involved will also increase. For this reason, we waive our 72 hour response guarantee.
